Living a Good Life as a Christian

What a wonderful thing to be born again to do His will which means our old self dies and a new life commences in us! It all means a lot to every one of us who has been baptised, when, this new life begins.

At times we do suffer for good things ahead of us, and we can, like Paul, realise our own weakness yet still be in Christ. With special concern, we can refer to Naaman who was healed of leprosy. He was meant to suffer, and almost took the wrong decision over which river to choose. Bathing in the Jordan was actually symbolic of baptism; he did it seven times and his skin became as smooth as a child’s.

We should therefore continue to pray and should pray for others, just as we are told in Colossians 4:2-4, and we then do what is required of us and wherein we fail, we repent and obtain forgiveness.
