Forgiveness and Salvation

Luke 1:77 tells us that if we really feel God’s forgiveness, then we know salvation, but such a wonderful experience comes from appreciating the seriousness of sins.

The proud and self-righteous have no feeling for the wonder of God’s forgiveness.

This comparison of Jesus Christ, humanity and his exaltation is found in the Bible as it teaches us about his death. It speaks of the subordination of Jesus Christ to God.

He was lifted up in crucifixion and shame. Yet in God’s eyes Jesus was lifted up in glory.
