CAPE COAST

Firstly, I want to extend my greetings to the brethren in Australia who have suffered because of the climatic conditions. I want to tell them that they should not be offended in God through what has just happened. I want to assure them that only God knows best and He overrules what happens to them. Also it is only God who gives and who takes away. All things happen in this world through His will and power, so we should always depend on Him whether things are good or bad.

Also I want to take this opportunity to say that while other brethren and sisters have experienced trials or other happenings in their lives, these could happen to any of us, so we should always watch and pray for strength and understanding when they befall us. Our Lord and Master was tried and trials must and will befall us and we must face them with humility and love. All this is happiness indeed as it is the medicine of the godly man.

SUBRI

We are indeed living in exciting times and we are seeing and hearing of the end time prophecies being fulfilled. I receive Signs of the Times and Glad Tidings, which I pass around to other brethren and sisters and I plan to put some flyers inside the magazines, so that interested friends can apply for the correspondence course. We must continue to pray earnestly for our brethren in refugee camps, those in Israel and other war countries. We need now, more than ever, to hold fast and pray as our redemption draws near.

Sis. Janet Odiko
