CAPE COAST
Topics for 2008, God Willing: Matthew 20:1-19, “Labourers in the Vineyard” and, “Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or do you begrudge my generosity?”
I will be very glad if we who are walking in God’s vineyard will think about these two sentences . We all know that nowadays the world is moving fast with its attractions and with a very little slip we can become engrossed in them. We should be very happy with whatever we have or receive and stand firm in our faith and make prayer our daily bread. We are in hardship due to petrol increases on a quarterly basis. I hope that Ghana is not alone in this, but my prayer is that we should hold on to our faith. We are all fine and looking forward to welcoming our Lord’s second coming, by the will of God. May our Almighty Father richly bless us all, especially in the wonderful work that is being done to preach the Truth and strengthen us to be ready for Jesus’ coming.

Our combined love and greetings to all in the Lord. God be thanked for ushering us into a New Year. I have received many copies of Gospel News. I know that any Ecclesial Recording Brother can receive regular free copies so please do not forget my name from your list. We are building a church and we are working hard to complete it within a short time. I would like to request ten copies of Bible Basics and one Bible Companion so that we can understand more from the Bible. We try to turn away from worldly behaviour and to keep watching continually for the Master, Jesus Christ Our church has grown to 23 who are baptised and 16 interested friends and we have a Sunday School of 18. Finally, we would like to receive anything you can support us with and we pray for all Christadelphian ecclesias in the Lord’s Name.

SHAMA
God says, “I am the Lord thy God and besides me there is no other God, and the true God; the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and of Moses”. He commanded Moses to bring His people from oppression, led them across the Red Sea, striking off their enemies behind by drowning, and led them through the wilderness. When we fall into tribulation or trouble then of course fear comes which can betray the faith of the person himself. God did wonders to show Pharoah that after all the evil treatment meted to the Lord’s people they still grew and multiplied and they were “grieved because of the children of Israel” (Ex. 1:12). Even Joseph’s brethren who sold him for twenty pieces of silver later became sorry and lamented him. But if this had not occurred where would the saving hand have come from during the famine? God so loved His people Israel that Joseph had to pass that test, as Christ Jesus laid down his life for you and all his brethren and sisters through the GRACE He has for us.
I would be very grateful if spiritual books such as Bible Basics and The 66 Books of the Bible could be sent to us to be distributed to the brethren and sisters in the ecclesia; ten copies of each title please in English. We often attend meetings such as the Breaking of Bread on Sundays, Bible Class every Friday and have a Sunday School for the children. Remember us in your prayers that our ecclesia here may grow in spirit and truth. Bro. Stephen and Sis. Wendy Sykes and Bro. John and Sis. Mary Hearn from England, visited us at Shama Junction.
