By God’s grace we held our CYC gathering at Enugu state when six people were baptised. I need the books you mentioned in your letter, including any others that will help me in the Kingdom race. I am glad you have sent the English Bible Basics to me.

IKWUANO
I have received the parcel containing, ‘Where Women Have No Doctor’ and ‘Eureka at a Glance’, which I appreciate. When I see that trials come from my Creator I give myself to prayer (Ps. 25:2-3). By God’s grace I love to work and earn a living. I try and see where I can earn a bit extra to increase the number of boxes toward my bee-keeping project. It may interest you to know that Bro. Friday Umesi and myself were both baptised into the ‘household’ on May 31 1991; we work together in the newly opened Ikwueke ecclesia, carved out from Okwe ecclesia in February, 2004. As we are approaching the last days we know that it is a ‘must’to make our calling and election sure. I have been receiving PDE for years from Bro. Charles French. I pray daily that the Lord will strengthen all the hands that help us in our understanding of the Word. God has blessed the newly opened ecclesia with baptised members and we now are ten in number. May our Lord’s coming be swift for our relief. In Him who is our peace and security,

OKWE
Bro. Friday Enyiogu is a brother in Christ and we worship together in the same ecclesia, Ikwuano. As you know, he keeps bees and they have, at times, stung him, but this does not scare him away. It is a difficult help-scheme for me, but as a trained bee farmer he finds it easy and interesting. I rear goats for a livelihood and it is my intention to expand when I can afford to do so. Regarding the new book, ‘Wrested Scripture’, I would like to get a copy and other Scriptural literature. I enclose two photographs.

KANO
I wish to seize this opportunity to acknowledge the receipt of the well-packaged parcel which arrived unscathed. I had a motorcycle accident which kept me on a hospital sick bed for three weeks which hindered me writing earlier. I have just been discharged, though still nursing some of the wounds sustained in the course of the accident. Above all, I thank God for averting what could have been a fatal accident to mere injuries. I am indeed recuperating, to the glory of His Name..
