Sharing One Faith in N. Tanzania

The word ?visit? has one meaning but different targets ? business purposes, private issues, changing areas, tourism or relaxing etc. Isaiah 52:7 says, ?How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace, that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!?

We are called to care for others, and the most well known story is probably the parable of the good Samaritan. Obviously taking care of others will benefit them, but the great thing is as long as we are serving others by spreading the word of God, ?faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God?. After a time it could well bear fruit, that means that propagation will be needed, irrigating by the water of life.

We visited and witnessed the newly baptised Brethren and Sisters of Lugufu ecclesia as well as of Rutale ecclesia in Kigoms. We care for them as one body in Christ. If the leg is sick the whole body will be in trouble. Care does not mean that we take all responsibility of a person, but it is revealed in different ways ? through love, in days of danger or days of happiness. Jesus has given us a living example in John 13:14-17

Let us think of Jesus? example of caring by giving his body as a sacrifice for sin. There is no sense in thinking of this if we who are sharing the same baptism, same faith and same hope do not take care of others with whom we share the same belief. As it is for us to care for others who share the same faith, we visited our beloved brethren in Christ here and there.

These photos are from Bro. Benoit?s visits to various ecclesias in N. Tanzania.
