CANADA
Pleased to see the Orangeville ecclesia distributing sleeping bags and other welfare to the homeless, along with NEV Bibles. All such charitable work will only really be effective if it is meshed together with the preaching of the Gospel, so we were very happy to see this message from the Busby Centre who received the welfare parcels and NEV Bibles:
"We want to give a huge thank you to the Orangeville Christadelphians for their amazing donations of sleeping bags and bibles! We truly appreciate the support of your group and recognize the hard work and thought that went into your donation! Thank you from all of us at Busby"

LATVIA
This last Sunday was the biggest meeting we've held in Riga for a long time. Numbers are increasing, both of those previously baptized who attend, and of their contacts they're bringing along. The "banquet hall" we have to use can take about 35 at a time. We therefore had to do three separate meetings. With admission by ticket only, with the others waiting outside in the cold [albeit with coffee]:

It's great to be in a situation where there are more people wanting to come to meeting than can fit in the premises. It's probably one of the few cases in Europe where any church or any kind has this "problem". Even the participants said it was a good feeling, although it was a bit hard to close the door and say "That's it, we're full, next sitting in 40 minutes". And there is something Biblical and "of the Spirit" in breaking bread associated with eating a meal at a table together. But there is without doubt a sadness at having to go "home" afterwards, which is often to squatting in a cold building or waiting for the night shelter to open:

It's especially so hard for folks like this sister, walking with two sticks, carrying her few belongings in a rucksack, and having to live in a night shelter which opens at 8 PM and throws everyone out at 8 a.m.:

Need your prayers for the situation, what with infection levels rising and the economy so shot.

GEORGIA
This week, we were able to baptize two more Iranians, one in Iran and also ALI in Tbilisi, Georgia- son in law of sister Mariam. Both times, we really appreciated the assistance of sister Sophie from the USA [baptized earlier this year] in translating and helping with the prayers.

IRAN
We were able to baptize NAGHDI , yet more fruit of the Farsi language Bible app. Our brother is very sincere, but as you can see from his final WhatsApp communication below, there are very real risks for those who convert to Christ in Iran. Communcations are monitored at random, with special attention to 'persons of interest' suspected of converting away from Islam. Appreciate your prayers for our new brethren, and those who communicate with them.

PRAYER POINTS:

   - For those recently baptized
   - For the Covid situation in Latvia
   - For wisdom as we further develop the Bible apps
   - For safety for our Iranian brethren and those who deal with them

With love from your brothers and sisters of Carelinks
