BARANOVICHI
I am so ashamed not to have been in contact more. All is well with us here, and we continue to gather together for breaking bread with the others here in Belarus although not as often as we would all wish.
Bro. Leonid
We are delighted to report the baptism of FIDEL, an asylum seeker and friend of our Brother Deogratius, also originally from Rwanda.
The winter is hard here, very cold from morning to evening, but we hope we will survive. Thank you very much for the books. I have got them yesterday and Thank you so much again. It’s very interresting to have the "Principes Bibliques".

We here are so excited about all the baptisms we hear of in Riga! Here our progress is slow because of the Government restrictions. We here will always be grateful for the colossal labour of Brother Duncan and Sister Ludmila Fyodorovna in showing us the Gospel and baptizing us, we always remember this every time.
Sis. Elvira
I am very, very happy and grateful that I am not alone in the world, but I have God, Jesus, and a spiritual family. Sister Vika here just had a daughter and I rejoice in her joy.

Photo: Partially sighted brother Vlad has worked day and night helping to prepare the new meeting- place of the Riga Bible Center- here he is trying to level concrete he has mixed and poured, hardly able to see anything. His zeal has provoked very many.
May God continue to bring people to the true church. We thank God for the good things He is doing here .We thank you for the good work you are doing. May our Lord Jesus Christ be with you and your family wherever you are. May He continue to bless you for your good work. We appreciate you a lot.

All meetings here in Riga went well despite the absence of Duncan and Cindy recently as they went travelling. Brother Yuri and I gave the talks, and continued teaching those interested in being baptized. Thank God for all!

I read all our magazines sent to me, and all the time I get the message, that I must study the Bible more. So, I decided to make a study of the life of David, I read through the chapters and tried to imagine how it was with him, and to make a list of similarities between him and me, and to see how God also works.
Sis. Irena

I am very ill with arthritis, for many weeks I have not been able to get up. Thanks for your prayers, I am feeling somewhat better at the moment. I have been reflecting, that truly Jesus is the door to the Kingdom of God and the Bible is as the threshold. Greet all readers of Gospel News from me.

The loss of Brother Boris to us here cannot be explained in words. Still I remember him, every day, as I read the Bible, knowing he would also have been reading the same chapters according to our plan. Sister Alevtina has so many on-going problems with her sight, I am very, very grateful indeed for kind brothers and sisters abroad who are providing so much for her, without that she would be blind, and she wishes not to go blind simply so she can continue reading God’s word daily. I am awaiting with great impatience the next Bible School.
Bro. Oleg
ST. PETERSBURG
I continue reading daily and breaking the bread. I am struck by how often we are told that Jesus is at the right hand of God in Heaven. He is truly there as our Mediator, I keep reminding myself of this.

We have very exciting news from here, in that one man here wishes to be baptized, he came to us because his wife obtained a copy of Brother Andrej reading Bible Basics on CD from the local blind institute, and he as her husband also listened to the book being read. Now he wishes to be baptized, so we are so much encouraged.
Bro. Sergej
Thank you for the sympathy in the loss of Tanya’s father. We are longing for the next Bible School in Poltava, almost as much as we long for the coming of the Kingdom at this time.
Bro. Andrej

BELGRADE
Recently I have been trying to share the Truth with some recovering drug addicts who attend a rehabilitation center near Belgrade. I gave them our literature. It was the first time I had seriously spoken with such people. I feel they were searching for God although they didn’t know it in so many words, and so I pray for them.
Bro. Vladimir
I am going around evangelizing people here. I am looking for a NKJV study Bible if anyone has one.
Bro. Rachid

We are still in shock from the falling asleep in Christ of Brother Vladimir, he was my neighbour, and truly he was a neighbour and Brother in Christ to me and to many. I so hope Jesus returns soon.
