Report on the Visit to Limpopo (RSA)
We met at Park Station on Monday, 30 March, 2009. Our train left Johannesburg at 19:00 and arrived at Louis Trichardt at 7:10 the following morning. We took a taxi to Machuzi and went to the home of Bro Charlie Golele who is in isolation but doing a lot of preaching. He is disabled, but he is very keen to preach the truth. We gave him the typewriter sent to him by Sis Leonie Verster for him to translate the 22 Bible Correspondence Course into Shangani, the local language for that area.
We were received warmly as the whole family was expecting us. We had breakfast and afterwards went to a house right in the middle of the village where we met eight people waiting for us. Daniel is known, so he introduced me. I started by giving a brief talk about ‘Who are the Christadelphians?’ They had asked to know more about the kingdom of God, the resurrection of the dead, and satan. We started at 10:00 and ended at 13:45. After having lunch together we went back to the house of Bro Charlie, where the three of us broke bread.
We left Machuzi for Louis Trichard where Daniel proceeded to his rural home, while I went back to Johannesburg. We would like to thank CBMSA for helping us with this visit.
