news from nigeria

ABA

We started a radio gospel programme at the end of last year and it has been yielding positive results. Two people have been baptised as a result of it and we have many contacts who are keen to be baptised as I suppose. I wish to request Bible Basics in English, Gospel News and other literature for a newly baptised brother to help him understand what he was baptised into more fully.

CROSS RIVER STATE

For many years now I have been a member of the Christadelphians. In the past I contributed in writing some articles published in the Gospel News. Unfortunately I lost contact due to the burning of my relevant documents relating to the fellowship. This happened during a communal clash between my community and the neighbouring community in Benue State of Nigeria. However, I came across Brother Peter Keneng, who showed me a letter from you so I can make contact again with you. My absence from the fellowship for some time now is highly regretted. Many thanks for your understanding in this regard.

ENUGU

I thank you for the eye glass you sent to us, it seems that you realised that many brethren were in such trouble. We also need at least one dictionary for newcomers in the Lord. All these things you are doing encourage them a lot. The Nigerian meetings are good and we are trying our best here in preaching. My sister wife has been seriously ill for a month with a bad attack of malaria. She goes to hospital for treatment but there is no improvement yet. Remember us in your prayers.

IBADAN

I am working on translating What Is The Gospel? into Yoruba for our witness.
