news from nigeria
AKURA
I receive Gospel News for which I am indeed very grateful. I have been very ill for two months, but thank God I am now in good condition of health. I must confess that God has done wonders in my life, now that I know He exists. I shall appreciate it very much if you can please send me some pamphlets for distribution and one more Bible Reader’s calendar to be given to a friend who showed interest when he saw the one you sent to me.

ENUGU
My aim in writing to you is to tell you all the Lord has done for us and to publish it. Since last year’s CYC three persons have been baptised. In June two Sisters were baptised; they are Sis Nwaka and Sis Chiege Nuaji, of the same father and mother. Bro Emmanuel Iweha, put on the Name of Christ on 2nd December. He had been a friend of mine for over five years. He made a good confession during his interview. All his family are Catholic and his brother is a Rev Father, yet he forsook them. They accused me of causing trouble in their family by bringing another faith. Thank our God for blessing us with three last year. I have heard that there is a book called ‘Where There Is No Doctor’ but I haven’t seen it; where can I get it? Things are going from bad to worse all over the world, especially in Nigeria (2 Tim. 3:13). My advice is that all Brethren and Sisters keep patient because our Lord is coming quickly to set us free. May he come very soon.

KADUNA
I pray that God will enrich you bountifully for propagating His Word when our Lord comes, and above all that we all may be worthy to live with Him in His Kingdom. In Gospel News I read about the Bible Basics Manual; please send it to me. I also wish you to send me the book, ‘Where There Is No Doctor’, for the benefit of knowing ailments and cures that we encounter nowadays. This will help me and our ecclesial members as well. All the Bbrethren in Kaduna greet you and I hope to hear from you soon if the Lord tarries.
