The Lord is Your Life
Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and for ever, said, “The Spirit gives life. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life” (Heb. 13:8, John 6:63). The word of the Lord stands for ever.
“Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply from the heart. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God” – the Holy Bible (1 Peter 1:20,22,23).
“Hear now, my dear brethren, the decrees and laws God our Lord teaches us. Follow them so that you may live.” (Deut 4:1).
“If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.” (Matt.19:17) “God will give each person according to what he has done. To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honour and immortality, he will give eternal life” (Rom 2:6,7).
“In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality” (Pro.12:28). “Praise the Lord, O my soul, all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits; who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:1-5). “The Lord heard Hezekiah and healed the people” (2 Chr 30:20).
“He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and love mercy and to walk humbly with your God (Micah 6:8).
“We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”. To be made new in attitude of your minds, and to put on the new self, created to be like God in righteousness and holiness (Eph.2:10; 4:23,24). “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of the Lord Jesus Christ” (Phil 1:6).”God wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth” (1 Tim.2:1-4).
