news from philippines
We are a Christadelphian
family here in Sta. Cruz, Laguna. I’m glad to receive Gospel News; and my
family and I are learning a lot from it and the pamphlets you send. My wife,
Nerissa, was baptised in
Hong Kong
Feb. 4, 1996. When she returned here to the Philippines she shared everything
she learned about the Good News and the Name of Jesus Christ. It took several
years before I was convinced of the teaching, then gradually I started to reply
to God’s call. God bless us all for doing the right thing and learning about the
true lessons of life. I was baptised on March 29, 2003. Reading Gospel News
gives me lots of hope, both spiritually and mentally. I really enjoy reading the
articles because, aside from boosting my faith, it really helps to pass my time,
since I’m currently unemployed due to my illness. My heart is bursting with so
much gratitude for the help we are receiving from ACBM, and I would like to
thank them here in GN. Last August 16 my two children, Nyza (18) and Ogie (16),
were also baptised and they are currently teaching Sunday School at Cavint,
Laguna (my home town). I have another child, Rissany, who is only three; we take
her every time we attend the Memorial meeting. I am suffering from an acute
nephropathy with anaemia, but I’m really grateful to God that He didn’t abandon
us in time of trouble.
