INDONESIA Brother Phil and Sister Miri Worsnop report an amazing visit to Indonesia:
We were very blessed to be able to visit Solo, Central Java, Indonesia for a month. The main reasons for visiting for a longer period was to spend time and encourage Sis Emy, Bro Sigit (her brother), within their Social Ministry Charity known as Hati Tulus Indonesia (meaning is Sincere Heart Indonesia). They have 2 parts for their ministry. 1. A Christian base Children Orphanage Home and 2. Homeless Ministries to help & teach the Bible Truth to the Homeless within their city. The highlight of the trip was the Baptisms of 3 new brothers, Bro Danur Philipus, Bro Yudi Lazarus and Bro Suratman. They are the result of about 5 months of Sis Emy and her team working with the ones who are homeless. Each Tuesday and on Thursday, they have an evening "church under the trees" with attendance of up to about 25 people. Activities include hymns, testimonies, prayer requests, Bible Study, discussion and a simple meal to finish. giving out their certificates,
We also had an evening meal in a restaurant area to welcome our new brothers, giving out their certificates, Bibles etc. and have a thanksgiving meeting with about 50 supporters and the homeless. Apart from running the orphanage, Emy and her team of about 10 supporters are now working with the homeless.. Their goal is to teach them the Truth and also develop skills to be able to improve their lives, and in turn to help others like themselves. Current ideas are a recycling operation, preparing and selling food, growing crops on 2 blocks of land, fish farming, and home-orphanage repairs, vehicle repairs, barber, massage and sewing. The variation and development of these areas is dependent on the interests of the homeless and the success of the projects. They plan to have the coming Saturdays a Team building study- fellowship based on "having the mind of Christ" It will be a planning session on how best they can work together as a team to spread the Bible Truth and the love of Christ.
It was beautiful to see the new brothers working so well together. Even though they have so little, they generously give back to others in need. On one occasion, Bro Agus, on his recycling collection route, stopped to give money to a blind beggar. Shortly after, a car stopped for him, they saw his generosity and gave him some money. When he thanked them and asked God and Christ to bless them, they gave him more money.
UKRAINE
The situation in Ukraine for our brothers and sisters is really, really difficult right now. Not just with the bombings but with the situation for all men having been called up for military service unless they're in protected employment. Maybe view this video before

It's a compilation of just a few of the many clips circulating on Ukrainian social media of men being arrested and forced into the army. In each clip you will see hysterical women, the wives, sisters and daughters of these men who will now lose their income and be plunged into huge difficulties. You will see the women attacking the military police sent to arrest the men, trying to block the vehicles used to take them away etc. There is huge social opposition to this, as you can see in the clips, with passers by attacking the police who are arresting the men. These police units go everywhere, to restaurants, work places, building sites, funerals, shops, transport, buses, suddenly swooping at bus stops and outside the entrance to apartment blocks, in villages.. in order to literally grab men between 25 and 55, ask to see their documents, and then take them to military training. Where as draft dodgers they will be sent to "zero", the hottest parts of the front line. There is no conscientious objection. Many of our brethren stay in doors all the time. One young brother hasn't been out of his mother's flat for over a year. Others hide in villages with relatives. Ukraine's need for men at the front line is becoming acute, and the desperate times are requiring desperate measures. These roving pressgangs are a cause of huge fear and anxiety for many of our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. We ask simply that you pray for our brothers and their families, for the war to end, and for our brethren to be allowed to follow their conscience.
We plan a visit to Ukraine later in August Lord willing and we ask for your prayers as we plan it. So many to see, so much to do. There's an appeal out on Facebook for £2000 towards the cost of brother Mike Flaherty from Queensland, Australia going out to be with Duncan on this trip. Mike was a one time Policeman and Fireman and has a lot of relevant skills as well as a great love of the Lord in spirit and truth. Just have a listen to newly baptized sister TRISHA talking of [and showing] her absolute excitement at having been baptized and how eager she is to be used by the Lord and given talents to use for Him. Such a wonderful time. And she came to this through seeing the huge change in her relative Lincoln after we baptized him in his bathtub last year. Joy all around. Share Heaven's joy. Later in the week we travelled to brother Lincoln in Liverpool and assisted him in baptizing his contact CRAIG. Craig was just the model of humility before the Lord, thanking the Lord and ourselves in tears for His grace, and after being baptized in Lincoln's bath tub he immediately got to his knees in heartfelt prayer. You can see him here with his NEV Bible. Lincoln's outreach to family and people around him is just amazing and amazingly blessed by God.

After very many years of helpful service, Carelinks Outreach Inc is closing down and we truly thank all the brethren who were involved in this. Especially brothers Joe Badlu and David Corbin, who not only ran the entity but came over to us and helped on the ground, David coming to Ukraine several times.
