CHINA Brother Donald is still preaching the Gospel and baptizing people one by one. He reports:
"I baptized sister MA at her home in Lanzhou, there are a large number of Buddhist believers in that city, and the number of Islamic believers in Lanzhou is also considerable, which means many mosques appear in the city. Below is her personal testimony:
I am 76 years old and suffer from several illnesses, Hypertension, arthritis. As I grow older, I am increasingly afraid of death. So I have been searching for religious comfort. I chose Christianity rather than other religions, for example, Islam, and the reason is related to my deceased husband, my husband was a Christian, although I was not at that time, but I love reading the Book of Psalm, unfortunately he died three years ago. You are very patient, unlike many pastors ,they think elderly people like us are unworthy of attention, they are not very willing to listen to my rambling, but I can feel you are the real believer".
Here's a picture of our new sister with her
NEV Bible.
MOROCCO
We flew to Morocco, hired a car and drove out quite some way into the desert along with brother Yohanes to a small town to meet one of his contacts BADR. He had preached the Gospel to him online. And he was so zealous to be baptized. But there was no water, his Muslim family were against it and no swimming pools working due to lack of water. We spent an hour driving here and there trying to find water sources and asking people. There were none. The local rivers were dried up. We eventually found a once flooded rubbish tip that stank and the bit of water left at the very bottom of it was foul. It had once been filled with water but we could see where the decreased water levels had exposed the garbage... it was absolutely foul. Brother Yohanes bravely went in there and baptized our even braver brother Badr, who got a mouthful of that foul liquid. But truly he died and rose with Christ. In the middle of nowhere near a small desert town in Morocco.

UKRAINE
So sorry to report the falling asleep of sister Galina in a front line town in Ukraine, she was baptized by us many years ago and her daughter sister Lena some years later [left in the photograph]. We were able to visit her on our recent visit to Ukraine and she clearly understood our communications and definitely died in sure faith and Hope of the Kingdom. We thank God for a race well run and mission accomplished, despite all the sadness which comes with it at this time.

UK
Our previous observations about young British males becoming so interested in the Bible were confirmed with the baptism of ANTHONY in South Wales, after some time reading the Bible [the KJV] and also getting disillusioned with churches. Such a sincere, dedicated believer as you can see from his words in the video

We did the baptism at a lovely spot on the River Tawe where Anthony had for some time dreamt of being baptized, just beneath a small waterfall:

Sister Tamsin who lives in Swansea wasn't able to get to this baptism, but she herself then got to baptize two others a few days later, LYNN and SEAN. That really is the sign of maturity, when a baptized person reaches out to others and has the courage to take them to the beach and baptize them. Tamsin had asked us to pray especially for her in doing this as she was so nervous baptizing people for the first time. And we definitely did remember her in prayer. The sermon on Zoom church on Saturday morning was about how queen Esther was developed from being a passive person to being proactive and using her own initiative for the salvation of God's people. Tamsin was unusually absent from our gathering because she was out arranging the baptisms- exemplifying exactly that message, the word becoming flesh. Later in the day we heard from her that despite much nervousness she baptized them... see the video

Would all the Lord's people follow Tamsin's example and get out there for Him, obeying the great commission we have each received, to tell the Gospel to all and baptize people.

PRAYER POINTS
- For those recently baptized
- For those holding on to their faith, and spreading it, in isolation in China, Morocco and similar areas
- For more converts like Tamsin to get out there and preach-and-baptize. So many people are interested
- For those in Ukraine mourning their loved ones in difficult situations
With love from your brothers and sisters of Carelinks
