Thank you so much for the anonymous donation safely received apparently from a legacy.

Brother Mark also reports the baptism of SKY:
"Sky is the daughter of sister Gaylene who we baptised over a year ago. Sister Gaylene has been a steady kind influence on her children in regards to God and His son Jesus Christ. And now Sky has surrendered to that voice deep in her subconscious; Sky has made the move toward the move that God has made toward her in His dear son. We pray that as Sky faces the challenges of this life, that she may ever remember that she has a new life in Christ Jesus; a new life that by grace, finds its full reward in eternal life in God's kingdom when Jesus returns.".

We were delighted to hear from brother Sylvain in the south of France that he was able to take his wife NATHALIE to the beach and baptize her this week. So wonderful when the Gospel takes hold of a family. Here's a pic of the happy family after the baptism of Sylvain's dear mother in June this year:

This week it was a joy to make a brief trip to Scotland to baptize VICTORIA. Our sister has had a career with young offenders but later turned to Christianity. She began eagerly reading the Bible, but was asked to leave various churches because she had figured the Bible teaches neither a trinity nor a personal devil. She found it deeply offensive that churches refused to give her communion nor fellowship because of her views. She came into contact with us online and has been avidly following us at Croydon Church in a Pub, which she describes as 'EastEnders meets the Gospel', and more recently attended our Zoom breaking of bread meeting. So it was both the end and beginning of long journeys for her when we finally met and were able to baptize her. You can see her huge wonder, excitement and joy at having been baptized into the real Jesus and now with a far fuller knowledge of the Gospel of the Kingdom. She has a strong desire to reach out to others with the true Gospel, especially to women who have been sidelined by large churches.

We also were able to online witness the baptism of SAMIRA by brother Salar, also in Scotland; so nervous before baptism, so happy and joyful afterwards, rather like Victoria:

Further afield, it was a pleasure to make a trip to the west country to meet up with those desiring baptism. AMY was baptized in idyllic surroundings at the foot of a waterfall, having quit alcohol some years ago and devoted herself to careful Bible reading. Such a lovely person who came to us through the witness of one of our sisters from Croydon. Her Bible is so well marked, full of stickers and notes. Truly God's word is powerful and the baptism service was so lovely in that idyllic environment.

And then there was SONNY and his wife FAY both baptized in their bath tub in a very quaint village. Neither had ever been Christian before, indeed Sonny was raised as a British pagan, but were brought to re-think life by the world situation, by having a child [now nearly 3] and by Sonny coming down with fibromyalgia and other major health issues. He is in constant chronic pain, intense sweating and freezing. This led them to Bible reading and thence to engaging with us online. Sonny has a really powerful testimony. When asked why he had turned to Jesus, he answered immediately: "Pain". And went on to give an amazing testimony of how thinking through the pain and suffering of Jesus on the cross had led him from hating Jesus and the idea of Christianity- to in fact loving Jesus and having a personal realationship with Him as his very own representative, brother, High Priest and saviour. Very powerful witness to the abiding power of the Lord Jesus and His cross to enter the hearts of people in secular British society to this day. His testimony

As we send this off, we're cleaning up after the amazing annual garden party in Croydon. More of that next time, Lord willing.
