March 2025 North America, Ukraine, UK

NORTH AMERICA
This week we were happy to witness the online baptism of JASMINE, yet another who encountered our teaching online. Brother Jim Barton will try take her under his wing.

UKRAINE
There has been very heavy bombardment this week of areas where we have brothers and sisters, with high levels of civilian casualties. All our folk and their families are so far unharmed but definitely need our prayers. Living with the sirens blaring all night is enough to wreck anyone's mental health, especially for the children.

UNITED KINGDOM
A good crowd of truly interesting people from a wide range of life experience are booked in at our Carelinks / Croydon Church in a Pub Retreat March 21-23 God willing. Do come and join us, day visitors welcome. Or consider funding some who will attend but can't contribute.

Meetings at the Pub and Venue continue well. A genuinely funny 1 minute real-as clip from
today's service at https://youtu.be/BLzME1S9_X0
It was such a happy time together, crowned by the baptism of BARRY afterwards.

It was young brother Daniel's turn to get on the long road trip this week as Evia was at the Maidenhead Youth Weekend. We drove down to Cornwall visiting various ones on the way, and met with WARREN who had encountered our Croydon Church in a Pub meetings online whilst desperately searching for God. A very hard life, born to a soldier in Germany and raised in boarding school, where the punishment for misbehaviour was to be locked in the library. Where there was a Bible, which he read right through and this set up his search for God. Now living on a council estate and mourning the death of his young daughter, who died a year ago to the day. He had just been to the nearby graveyard the morning we met. He has an amazingly mature outlook on it all, seeing it as some kind of test from God. He was so ready to be baptized, which we did in his flat; and we gave him some material help as he's definitely in a hard place having to pay for the gravestone etc. We had a pastie together afterwards, seeing we were in the land of pasties. And committed him to the Lord in whom he has definitely believed.
