I would so like to come to the Bible Schools in Ukraine which I read about!
Bro. Sargis
whilst on a visit to Latvia. Doing the daily Bible readings each evening with a group of English visitors for a week greatly assisted her in making her decision.

Here our lives continue much as before, but the cold weather makes our bones ache because of our illness. It got as low as -37 C, and was often around -20. When life seems just an existance, I think of the Kingdom, and how God loves us even now.
Bro. Valerij
We are delighted to announce the baptism of ROBERT; may he abide in Christ until His return.
I can say I am sincerely rejoicing in the joy of knowing Christ. I am busy with work in the office and school work but my prayers are with you.
Bro. Robert
We are delighted to announce the baptism of HENK and thank the Ede ecclesia for their assistance. May he run the race to the Kingdom with every blessing along the way.
Zlata and I have been ill, but we are reading the Bible every day with the Companion system. Thanks to the Magazine, we keep in touch with how things are going with Christadelphians. We both find we are lacking energy, and we long for Christ’s return.

When I read in the Magazine of my prayer request for my family, printed in black and white, I was very touched. I feel many of you read this and prayed, and I feel that result for them. How I wish they would come to the Lord and be with us.
Sis. Anna
We are delighted to announce the baptisms of FESTUS and PETER in Naples, and we pray God’s blessing upon their walk and earnest desire to share the Truth with others.
NAPLES
As for me, I am pressing forward. The grace of God and the joy of the Lord is my strength. We are committed to give the good news of the Kingdom to others. This is our joy.

I am writing to you because it’s the 10th anniversary of my baptism today! I am more grateful to you and to the Lord than I can explain. I remember the day of my baptism as if it were yesterday. Duncan and Sister Ludmila came to my home. I mourn for Sister Ludmila’s passing, but God used her in her time. I am grateful too that my daughter Alvina was baptized. How I made sense of life earlier without the Bible, I don’t know. I thank God.
Sis. Roza
I received news about the death of Sister Ludmila. Thanks to her and Duncan, we all here came to believe. She did a great work, and now sleeps. That’s all I can say really, with huge thanks to God.
Sis. Tanya
I feel I need to do something in response to the death of Sister Ludmila. To give something, even some small money, but I see that what is required is that we be like her, and ‘do’ as she did in preaching and caring.
Sis. Elvira
I would like to express publicly my deepest respects to Sister Ludmila.

BALVI
I was in hospital for the winter. I got a little better but I must use regular medicines, which are very expensive and inflation is very high. In such situations there are many difficult problems; in short life is still difficult. I continue to study the Bible and other publications. My wife is better at the moment but has lung problems too. My son works a long time after school.
We are delighted to announce the baptisms of LEONID and MARIA. May they run the race to the Kingdom with every blessing along the way.
My son is now working in Ireland, so I am feeling quite lonely here. I still battle with my health, and the economy in our area has completely collapsed. I cannot see things continuing as they are, unless Christ comes soon, I truly cannot imagine what will happen.
Bro. Peteris Balcers
I have at last found work, for which I am really grateful to God. I continue talking with my father and sister, they are studying the Bible daily and I am praying they will decide for Christ in truth. I thank God that you pray for me and care.
Bro. Ryszardas
Sometimes I find a Bible verse and keep on repeating it to myself. Recently I have been doing that with Ps. 18:32, “It is God who arms me with strength”. I wish to tell all people the truth about the work of Jesus, but it’s hard here to get people to leave their traditions.

I feel I am getting older, already my granddaughter is five years old. I feel more serious about my faith, and would love to come to the Bible Schools, but it’s so far for me and I fear travelling alone. I pray for my son, who is doing his army service, I hope he will think more about God when he finishes; maybe God will work with him through his experiences.
Sis. Tamara
POZNAN
We recently had another Bible School. We have revived the magazine Oredownik, and I am sending copies to all here. We all send our greetings to you!

The attendance at our Bible Basics weekly classes is still good but we are disappointed some of the people resist being baptized. We will keep trying with them.

We are still mourning the passing of our dear Sister Ludmila Kuritsyna. Brother Andrej and I are running the meetings for breaking bread but we so miss her. I have been in hospital and in all, we are looking all the more for Christ’s return.

I send invitations to all the internet contacts, inviting them to attend our meetings here; but nobody has yet attended. It was a great encouragement to have the gathering here recently. We need to be more zealous!

SANKT PETERBURG
I set myself the task to make an exhortation from Mt. 14:29-31, about Peter walking on the water, sinking, and being saved. So many thoughts came to me from this and remain with me. I greet you all in Christ.
Bro. Valerij

TYMSK
Apologies again for my long silence. The winter has been so long, with the temperatures around -40 most of the time. The ice even got so thick that I could no longer fish through it, so we had rather a poor diet. The loss of Sis Ludmila came as a hard blow to me. May Christ soon return.
Bro. Ivan
VINOGRADOVKA
Truly things are hard for me. The pension is so small, and to keep warm here in this place is so hard. I long to see you again. I realize I am hard and distant to visit here in the far East. My health is failing and I throw myself upon the Lord.
Sis. Galina
YAKUTSK
I am doing my best to raise my son to know God. Sometimes I think he really understands, but he is only his age. Thank you for sending me the booklet about raising children in the Lord. I am searching for what else to do with my life spiritually than just work and raise my child, please pray for me.

I have some interested to be baptized, but they greatly fear the authorities, and they don’t have passports to travel to Turkey as I did to be baptized. Things are hard for us here with the regime so please continue your prayers.
Bro. M.
Your kindness will never be forgotten. May God bless you, and may many more come to know Him through you.

I received the funds sent for my child to go to hospital. Really may God reward you. I will try my very best to be responsive to Him and generous in spirit as you have taught me.

KHARKOV
Vasilij and I continue to break bread, we read the Bible daily, because in our situation we really have to live by faith. I believe we have forgiven others, now in our small way we are trying to live in kindness to others whom we meet, to pray for people, to try to persuade them of the huge love of God. We re-read your letters often. We long for you, but it’s just impossible for us to travel far because of my health.
Sis. Lena
POLTAVA
It was a wonderful Bible meeting here in Poltava. I feel I appreciate what the life in Christ is all about more and more. I only wish I had known this great Truth earlier in my life.
