I try to interest people here in the Gospel, but they are old and think of very limited things: how to survive, how to preserve their harvest to eat over the winter. Anyone who thinks more progressively has gone to live or work in the towns. I think and pray often for you all.

Thank you very much for your prayers. Here are a few pictures of my baptism in the river. I was baptized by Brother Gareth J. Barker from London (don't remember the name of his ecclesia). Thanks for all, especially for your books but also for your exhortations. Thanks also for the links to your exhortations and talks in Russian, which are of great help for my learning of Russian.

I have made an advertisement for free in a Danish newspaper referring to Bible Basicsonline.com and also given my address and phone number if people want the book in Danish (I still have 20 copies). I will try to advertise your website also on different Danish websites so people can either read the book online or have it sent to them. I’m sure a lot of people will see it and hopefully some of them will respond positively.

Although the Government is more lenient towards religion than in previous times, they are really only allowing the Russian Orthodox church to have any publicity on radio, television and newspapers. Anyone who teaches otherwise is labelled as a ‘sect’, and I find it hard to interest people in our message for this reason. I continue to break bread here and take great comfort from my meetings with the Lord.

I have had a huge shock in that my sin-in-law suddenly collapsed and died. He did everything around the house and we simply don’t know what to do. I returned home from the Bible School eventually, but it was such a long and hot journey, I spent half the night waiting for the second bus. But the School was a blessing for me, the first one I have ever attended. I do treasure the photograph of us all together.

Once again I spent time in France caring for an old lady as I usually do each Summer. Each year I wonder if it will be the last time I see her. Although I do it as a job it is also a welcome break for me. I very much love this old lady and so wish I could break through to her about the Truth.
