God Takes and Gives

Thanks be to my husband, Joshua, who introduced me to the Christadelphians, I now understand the scriptures very well.

When my one and only child, a son, Zadok, Mukarati, was taken away from me, it was easy to understand that God had taken away the flower that He had given me. It was a flower which was allowed to bloom for seven years. “For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given” (Isaiah 9:6) meaning that the children we have are a blessing from God.

God is the one who gives life and He is also the one who kills. “See now that I myself am he; there is no God besides me. I put to death and I bring to life. I have wounded and I will heal and no-one can deliver out of my hand” (Deut 32:39).

Before I became a Christadelphian, I thought Satan was the root of all evils. But now I know that God does everything for a purpose. When the time comes, there is nothing a human being can do. During the time of Moses, the firstborn were killed, “When Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the Lord killed every firstborn in Egypt, both man and animals.

Let us not cry ‘Foul’. God has a purpose for all of us. Let us pray that we will be able to meet with our beloved ones in the kingdom of God. What is important is to follow the path of truth and righteousness. BEWARE: follow God’s ways.
