News from Trinidad and Tobago
It’s sad that the Privy Council has put our
fate in the hands of politicians - the senior
members of the Advisory Committee on the
Power of Pardon (Mercy Committee). The
Privy Council’s judgement in the Lifers’
case was given since July, but up to now no
one has been called to face the Mercy Com-
mittee. But God is in control, and I will
keep my faith in Him.
I am now 58 and I have spent 26 years in
prison, and although God has not yet
released me from here, I still have a lot to
be thankful for.
God brought me into the Truth 20 years ago
through Bible Basics. He has kept me strong
in faith. I am very thankful for you, and my
other brethren and sisters in the Truth
worldwide, for your love, prayers, friend-
ship, spiritual guidance and literature,
visits and support, which have helped me
in spiritual growth, and to have what’s
necessary for me to survive in here as
comfortable as is possible in these circum-
stances.
I am praying for you all every day, let’s
keep ready for our Lord’s return. God bless
you.

News from Uganda
In spite of personal difficulties, we thank the
Almighty for His help, and we thank CAT for
their effort and patience, as well as the hard
work you are doing for the spread of the Good
News world-wide, which is changing the lives
of many people.
As we embark towards the end of the year
2018, we have the vision and call of a greater
challenge than we have ever faced before.
The call is to be diligent and work the work of
God while it is still day, and to finish the work
the Lord calls us to do. Not of division, self-
ishness, despising of God’s Word. As Jesus
said, ‘My meat is to do the will of Him who
sent me, and finish the work.’ (John 4:27)
The sea and the waves are roaring, and we
pray earnestly that the number of those
elected will be made up, and the Father will
send Jesus to put this wicked, sad world to
rights.
We look forward to seeing you in that day in
the Kingdom, when we can all sit at the feet
of Jesus and those worthies of old, manifesting
God’s Name in the earth. We pray, ‘Come
quickly Lord Jesus.’ Our love and prayers are
also with you in the hope we share.

Romans 8:38,39 KJV
“For I am persuaded that neither death,
nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present,
nor things to come ... shall be able to
separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
