The Devil Not a Real Being

People don’t know what a devil is. They describe a human being as a devil. As we go further into Jesus’ teaching, he said a word in the mind is a devil. Look at Luke 4:2, where it says that for forty days, Jesus was tempted of the devil. He ate nothing during those days and at the end of them he was hungry. Verse 3: “Then the devil said to him, ‘If you are the Son of God, turn these stones to become bread”. There was no one there. He was alone. Only the thoughts in his mind were working, as happens to us today. We can think of wealth, but we don’t find it. That is the devil. Don’t allow those thoughts into our minds. Some thoughts can defile a man, but they can be banished. Look at Luke 4:4, Jesus had other thoughts at the same moment: “It is written, man does not live by bread alone”.
