On Sunday March 28 2010 there will be a fundraiser for Carelinks work in Haiti, at the Baringa ecclesia in Sydney, Australia. Contact Sis Belinda Burns for more details bel.burns@gmail.com. There will also be an event called "Buoy Up 4 Haiti!" on Friday, March 26 at 7:30pm at Padstow Park Primary School, Serges Ave, Padstow 2211 

Also on Sunday March 28 in New York, USA , brothers Charlie and Duncan will be arriving in New York fresh from a visit to Haiti and will be giving an update on the ecclesia and situation in Haiti, with videos and photos. The challenge of forgiving Jesus commands us to forgive each other in order to be forgiven by God, (Matt 6:14-15)  But this is a tall order, particularly for those who have suffered severely.  The workshop will analyse the topic and seek small steps that we can take in following our Masters' example – Steve Gretton

The art of Communication Jesus used specific methods to communicate. The Bible uses others. How should we communicate - with fellow believers, interested outsiders, the world at large and non-English speakers. Techniques for managing our messages more successfully will be considered – Charles Abel

Formulating a Pastoral Programme Pastoral care often happens in a quite haphazard way. Individuals make presentations or give exhorts on whatever interests them, which often results in a lack of co-ordinated program. The workshop will discuss what we can do about this – Anna Ryder

The aim of the conference is to study together and discuss how we can best shine the light of the Gospel in the present world. We will all have different ideas so it is understood that everyone will respect each other's point of view so that there will be a true spirit of love in the Lord.
