Sunday Memorial meeting at Port Maria....
After a lull, in attendance over a period of months I am happy to say that the interest is being rekindled at Port Maria Ecclesia. With over fifteen of us in attendance, three from Free Hill joining us in fellowship. The meeting is desirous of having a mid week Bible study, youth circle and Sunday School. All this we have sat down and talked about. I will have to be instrumental in getting them to these meetings as transport is a problem for them. I am trying to see how best I can use my time to help them make these a reality. Thank God all is not lost.

Bro Harris Mulongesha (Ndola, Zambia)
In the gospel of John, Peter asked Jesus, "'Lord, whither goest thou?' Jesus answered him, `Whither I go thou canst not follow me now, but thou shalt follow me'" (13:36). In Matthew, "And he (Jesus) saith unto them, `Follow me and I will make you fishers of men" (4:19). Brethren and
sisters, think of it: if it were you and me what would be our reaction toward the Lord Jesus?
"Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord, for he shall pluck my feet out of the net. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle. Set yourselves, stand ye still and see the salvation of the Lord ... Believe in the Lord your God, so shall he be established. Believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper" (2 Chronicles 20:9- 12,17,20: compare Psalms 25:15). "Because thou has kept the word of my patience, I will also keep thee from the hour of temptation which shall come upon all the world to try them that dwell upon the earth" (and see all of Revelation 3:8-12). If you believe him, follow him: "Whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life" (John 20:27,28). Are you following the Lord? If not, why not? Blessed are the people that know the joyful sound. They shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day. And in thy righteousness shall they be exalted, for the Lord is our defence. And the holy one of Israel is our defence. Amen.
