News from Mauritius
It is a pleasure for me to receive regularly
Gospel News magazines and other books which
you have sent me also. Many thanks for this
spiritual help; I pray that Yahweh will bless
you all for this great spiritual work that you do
each day, to help us towards the kingdom of
God, for which Jesus will arrive soon.
In Mauritius many responsible persons are
anxious about trouble which increases every-
where at the moment. This relates to law and
order, crime, burglary, the economic system,
politics, swindling, drugs, love of money etc.
Also dishonest people, not in security, move at
night – and even in the day. Many drug dealers
have been arrested during this last month.
The Government has appointed a Commission
Enquiry against drugs this year.
The prophecy of II Timothy 3:1-5 is accom-
plished daily, and this shows that Christ will
be returning soon. But we must prepare our
‘spiritual oil’, as in the parable of the virgins
waiting for the Bridegroom in Matthew 25:1-
13, and we must not ‘sleep’ but wait for the
Bridegroom.
Many thanks for your spiritual work, and may
you have many blessings. I send you the
address of my neighbour, for a copy of Gospel
News – he is very interested in the Bible and I
wish to help him to learn more of the Truth.
He is a young man about 35 years old.
Many thanks for the books which I re-
ceived. Now I will distribute them among
the members of our ecclesia in order to
share with others.
Many events are happening in the world
and we have to preach to people so that
they must repent to be saved. May God
bless your contribution to share the gospel.

News from Malawi
I went to the Malawi Government department
of Mines and Mineral Act, to apply for a
prospecting licence, which I now have.
I have not moved anywhere – I am still in Neno,
which is my home. As I was near to retire-
ment, I asked the Ministry of Health to post
me to New District Hospital, and I had my
retirement while working at home.
Here there are times when we use Western
medicines, and there are also times when we
use herbs as medicine – this depends on how
you feel in your body. I will be 67 on October
15, and I am thankful to say I am enjoying
good health. I rarely eat processed food, usu-
ally it is garden produced and home cooked.
I am very sorry for you, with all you have gone
through. May the gracious Lord be with you.
Read Psalms 20, 121 and 126; Isaiah 26:3.

News from Nigeria
I use this medium to thank you and all our
Brethren who are working with you in our
Lord’s vineyard. I am grateful especially for
the way you support our Ecclesia as well, in
sending us the Bibles and pamphlets.
On 28th August we received one parcel of
pamphlets and Bibles, etc. We have about six-
teen different Ecclesias surrounding us who
were not able to purchase even Bibles, or
pamphlets, which I supplied to them. They all
hope Enugu Ecclesia will supply them with
these materials.
We don’t have original preaching materials,
only those you send us. We need your support
for us by photocopying originals, as many as
possible, to enable us to go forth and distrib-
ute them to this Ecclesia and to the remotest
parts of the towns.
