Step Forward In Faith
| Bro Charles Aboagye (Agogo, Ghana)
“F
aith is the substance of things
hoped for …. without faith it is
impossible to please God” (Heb. 11:1,6).
We should consider the experiences of
Abraham. Abraham believed God and
because of this God accepted him as right-
eous. We should realize that the descen-
dants of Abraham are the people who have
the same faith. The scripture predicted
that God would put the Gentiles right with
Himself through their faith. Through faith God
will bless us and we will become His children.
We should live by faith and not be discour-
aged. The Lord is good, He protects His people
in times of trouble; He takes care of those who
turn to Him. Let us step forward in faith. Let
us have faith in God as did Abraham. To have
faith is to be sure of the things we hope for,
to be certain of the things we cannot see. It
was by such faith that people of ancient times
won God’s approval.
As the time of our Lord’s appearing becomes
more apparent to us, our faith in God must be
intensified so that we become worthy of the
Kingdom to be established on this earth by our
Lord Jesus Christ.
“Faith comes by hearing,
and hearing by the word of God.”
