We thank the Almighty that the elections
went very smoothly and were peaceful to the
end.
Much preaching is going on in our area and
we have had some baptisms recently and
copies of the Bibles you sent have been
KAPENCHO | Bro Richard K Lagat
It is a great pleasure to have this opportunity
to thank you for the very wonderful Holy Bible
with commentary, The Gospel News to all
Nations and the Bible Basics course articles. I
am thankful to peruse the Almighty Father’s
Word as it is indicated in the Holy Bible. Your
Holy Bible and the Bible Basics book have
benefited me, my family, village brethren and
the entire community as an ecclesia from
where I come from.
It has benefited me as we examine the Scrip-
tures together in the love of God as brethren
and sisters. This has led me to know new
things that I have never known before,
because Christadelphians know from the Scrip-
tures that the present age of man’s dominion
is coming to an end and while there is time,
you invite all to examine or re-examine the
true teachings of the Bible.
Once I have understood the truth the sincere
enquirer will appreciate the new view I have
gained, both of my own life and of the world
in general. I will be better equipped to face
that life as it is, with its mingled joy and
sorrow, fortified by faith in the power of God
and in the Truth of His Word, sustained by the
assurance that God is a merciful Father and
that Jesus is his intercessor; in this life of
service and faith I will enjoy the encouraging
fellowship of others who believe the same
things.
We are seven members who study together
and six brethren wish to have a Holy Bible and
Bible Basics study course.
distributed. However we have a major
hindrance because many people in the rural
villages do not understand English and
Swahili, which are the only official
languages. In Kenya many only speak in
their mother tongue and this is a big blow to
the spread of the Gospel – hence the need
for CAT foreign Bibles.
KASAMA | Bro Martin Chemiati
Much greeting in the one Hope we share. I
would like to thank you for the NEV Bible
which we received. It was an exciting day and
it has revealed that many of our people cannot
afford to buy Bibles for themselves as they
are very expensive. Baraton and Lurambi now
have the NEV Bibles. My wife, Sis Pilsila
Chemiati had been in hospital since February
and I have to report that she fell asleep on 20
May. Now I am alone with seven grandchildren.
She has been a very big helper during Sisters
Class and Sunday School. Even so Our Lord is
coming soon and we shall meet during the
resurrection day.

KISUMU | Bro Richard Oduma,
Elder Kisumu Ecclesia
It is my pleasure to greet you in the Name of
our Master. Let me first and foremost say a
word of thanks for the two parcels I received
with the Swahili Bible version and some other
articles. I would like to say bravo to the work
CAT is doing in supporting spiritually and
materially those who needed it. I want once
again to put forward our request as Kisumu
Ecclesia, for our project for caring for the
street boys and girls who are the most
recognised members amongst our congrega-
tion. Their numbers are increasing rapidly but
our support is down. We have managed with
God’s amazing grace, to baptize another two
after the baptism of Dancun whom we
baptized being a role model to them. I wrote
to Agape as you advised me but we haven’t
received their concern but are still hoping for
their positive reply.
