NEWS FROM BROTHERS & SISTERS
2012 at the age of 98yrs; she will be remembered for her strong courage to Christ and his ministry, she never let go but kept encouraging others to hold on and proclaim the gospel. She was the type of person many youngsters would sit and talk to as she also favoured youth circles because she liked to motivate us whenever she had the chance to do so. One thing for sure is that she was a person that did not stand for foolishness and she would gradually speak her mind to anyone whom she thought is not acting according to the gospel.
We often participated in breaking of bread with her while she was in the nursing home and when she felt strong enough she would make an effort to be at our meetings, when for most of the times was transported by her daughter and she would call a youngster from the meeting to take her bag; they never hesitate whenever she called.
My last moments with her were spent at her bedside in the Kingston public hospital along with her daughter Yvonne, popularly known as `aunty Pat' her granddaughter Heather and Bro James Samuels from the Spanish Town ecclesia. By then she was too weak to even utter a word, but I knew she would soon be waiting peacefully for the Lord's return.
WHO WAS SIS DAISY?
Sis Daisy was a nurse for many years devoting her service in helping and caring for others at our public hospitals and became a true heir to the word of God. She was baptized in 1957 as a member of the Christadelphian body and for 55 years she never took her eye off Christ and his ministry.
In 1965 she worked for more than two years at the Christadelphian hospital in Birmingham, where she made her mark. She would normally be seen as a counsellor and teacher to our brotherhood. Her love for and loyalty to Jamaica, and especially to Kingston, never wavered. Her memory untill the time she fell asleep in Christ was sharper than a razor, even greater than mine and many other youths. She will not be forgotten.

NEWS FROM JAMAICA
ST. MARY
The day of the Lord is my strength. Give thanks unto His Name for He is worthy to be praised. I am strong in my faith and no one can take that from me. `Gospel News' helps me and encourages me a lot. I was very excited when I saw how many ecclesias from different countries there are and how many are being immersed into the saving Name of Jesus Christ. Sadly, the ecclesia I belong to has been torn apart and some have gone astray. I am the only young girl that is a member. I wish we could get someone to come and hold an open air meeting in the community. I hope and pray for Jesus to return to his earthly throne.

NEWS FROM KENYA
BUNGOMA
Thank you very much for sending me the NEV Bible. I'm 37 years and a teacher by profession. I intend to help found an ecclesia near my place (in Bungoma Town) and God willing establish something akin to a Christadelphian Resource Centre. It needs a little library and a few volunteer brothers and sisters, plus some little funds to keep us going. Readers who want to know more about Christadelphians could visit this centre. That is my dream.
