Searching For God
Gideon Timothy Hankomone
(Mazabuka, Zambia)
One thing for sure is that mankind is searching for peace and security in life. Non believer's seek to find this in ever exotic gadgetry without finding it. Regardless of where we live, it is more important than ever for us not to take our eyes off the Lord, not to be so nervous about our situations, but patiently wait for God to act and finally to send Jesus to establish His kingdom on earth. This is our only hope as a community. All nations may walk in the name of their gods but we will walk in the name of our LORD GOD forever and ever (Micah 4:5).
CAT as a team have shown love for our brothers and sisters worldwide who receive Gospel News and material and I am no exception.
The Jewish people scattered around the world in exile, used to say `next year in Jerusalem'. They never gave up that hope and now they are there after nearly 2000 years. Do we have to wait until all of them return into Jerusalem before our God sends His son to establish the kingdom on earth? The answer is that God knows the exact time when His son will return to earth, but we are seeing prophecy concerning the signs of the times being fulfilled step by step.
Let us continue to live by faith in the son of God until he returns. May he bless each one of us

regardless of where in the world we come from, who long for his appearing. We as a community keep saying it won't be long before Jesus returns to establish God's kingdom, let us belong to those who believe it and live accordingly.
Present Your Body As A
Living Sacrifice To The Lord
Bro. Stephen Ogenga (Kampala, Uganda)
"Therefore, I urge you brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual act of worship." (Romans 12:1) The Bible says, "Have you not yet known/learned that your body is the home of the Holy Spirit? Your own body does not belong to you, for you have been bought with a price. So use every part of your body to give glory back to God because He owns it." (1Cor.6:19-20)
Our bodies are gifts of trust given to us by God to function here on earth, and He expects us to use them wisely, because every one of us will have to account for what we have done. This is the main reason why the Lord tells us to present our bodies as living sacrifices.
We all can remember what King David did when the ark of the Lord was being brought to the city of David. There was joyful shouting and David danced before the ark, showing his love to the Lord. Here he was offering his body as a sacrifice. The act did not please Michal, the daughter of Saul.
By presenting our body as a living sacrifice, it means we are giving ourselves to the work of God. In other words, you strive to make your body do only those things that the word of God says we should do. For example, the Bible says we should put to death the deeds of the body (Romans 8:13). So when your body starts to yearn for carnal deeds, you must deny it, saying, `you are the temple of the Spirit.' We must remember that we have been healed of sin by Jesus' sacrifice.
