We all enjoy a delicious meal, but it’s not just the ingredients that make it so, but the way it is prepared, cooked and presented that help to make is so appetizing. Of course the food wants to be nourishing and tasty but does not have to be expensive nor many hours spent in fancy preparation. The art of making a good meal is very much dependent on the expertise of the cook, but that only comes by training and experience.
Sister Yvonne Dube of the Walton Ecclesia (of which I also am a member) is a professional cook and has ran several four-week training courses in African Ecclesias to share her expertise with others. In the pictures you can see her explaining things to South African Sisters and at the end, for those that have become proficient, she is authorised to issue a certificate of competence.
