news from belarus

I try to interest people here in the Gospel, but they are old and think of very limited things: how to survive, how to preserve their harvest to eat over the winter. Anyone who thinks more progressively has gone to live or work in the towns. I think and pray often for you all.

We are delighted to report the baptism of VITEK. May the Lord keep him in the way to His Kingdom.

Thank you very much for your prayers. Here are a few pictures of my baptism in the river. I was baptized by Brother Gareth J. Barker from London (don't remember the name of his ecclesia). Thanks for all, especially for your books but also for your exhortations. Thanks also for the links to your exhortations and talks in Russian, which are of great help for my learning of Russian.

news from denmark

I have made an advertisement for free in a Danish newspaper referring to Bible Basicsonline.com and also given my address and phone number if people want the book in Danish (I still have 20 copies). I will try to advertise your website also on different Danish websites so people can either read the book online or have it sent to them. I’m sure a lot of people will see it and hopefully some of them will respond positively.

OULU

Sometimes I feel very sad about all the wasted years of my life. All the lives I've ruined and made miserable. Even though I feel so alive and free now that I'm properly in Christ.

We are delighted to report the baptism of VERA. May the Lord keep her in the way to His Kingdom.

It was a wonderful experience to meet Sister Lindsey from Luxembourg and to be baptized! Now my great wish is that my children will grow in the things of God and the Bible. I am planning to visit my relatives in Kazakhstan soon and will take them the Bible Basics in Russian which you left.

news from kazakhstan

The situation is about the same here, as we don’t get any visits from CBM any more and it’s hard for us to meet together. So we each must make ourselves strong from God’s word individually. Please pray for us all here.

news from kyrgyzstan

We are delighted to report the baptisms of brothers SASHA, BORIS and VLADIMIR; and sisters IRENA, TATYANA and DILARA. May the Lord keep them in the way to His Kingdom.

Here we are continuing to try to teach more people of the Gospel, but more especially to rejoice in the great hope of the Kingdom myself. I am trying to share this with my grandsons, I walk all three of them to school each day and try to explain things to them as best I can. Please be praying for us here, there are simply so very many problems in this country.

Now I have a computer in my classroom I can communicate better by email. The situation here is not good, many various problems because of the financial situation. But anyway I hope it's possible to cope with all the problems with the help of God.

Bro. Albinas

Thank you so much for your love and care toward us and so many.

Sis. Ludmila

news from malta

I moved a couple of months ago and would like you to kindly take note of the change of address.

The Refugee Camp Administrator has received the Bible Basics books you sent last time. I was not around when they received them – I saw one on the table and one of the staff was reading it.

I sincerely appreciate your efforts which have so far helped me to increase in an accurate knowledge of God, and I am grateful for the assistance you have provided me with.

KAZAN

Here I am facing some huge domestic problems which may leave me without anywhere to live; I may even have to go into a shelter. At my age I fear this greatly. Please pray for me.

Bro. Viktor

I marvel at how the same truth of the Gospel has been there from the time of Abraham to our own days in this 21st century. I see, too, how always the true way of God has been persecuted and opposed, and I suspect that such a time of trouble yet awaits us before Christ returns. May we be strengthened to endure and enter the Kingdom.

Bro. Alexei

I am pleased to inform you that brother Valeryan Matveev has returned to our meetings, he was baptized a long time ago by brother Duncan. My health has been poor, but I am trying by all means to write an article for our Magazine.

Bro. Anatoly

MOSCOW

Brother Igor Sipiagov and I have just bought our tickets to go to the Voronezh Bible School, we are so looking forward to it, an oasis for us.

Bro. Igor Pr.

PETROZAVODSK

I am pleased to say that Nastya and I graduated together quite fine. So this will be my last communication for a while, as we are leaving in the morning to live and work at our posting in the far north of Murmansk Oblast. Please pray for us and know we shall love you all in Christ even in that far place!

Bro. Kostya

ST. PETERBURG

Although the Government is more lenient towards religion than in previous times, they are really only allowing the Russian Orthodox church to have any publicity on radio, television and newspapers. Anyone who teaches otherwise is labelled as a ‘sect’, and I find it hard to interest people in our message for this reason. I continue to break bread here and take great comfort from my meetings with the Lord.

Bro. Valerij

SHAKTHY

Well we arrived home OK from the Bible School, very elated. The world is as a furnace and we were able to get out of it for a while to be together at the School, thank you so much that it could happen.

Bro. Andrej

SHANINO

I have had a huge shock in that my sin-in-law suddenly collapsed and died. He did everything around the house and we simply don’t know what to do. There’s nobody else in the village to help us with things and I cannot do hardly anything myself now at my age. So truly I am casting myself upon the Lord, for Him to sustain me.

Sis. Tamara

VOLGODONSK

I returned home from the Bible School eventually, but it was such a long and hot journey, I spent half the night waiting for the second bus. But the School was a blessing for me, the first one I have ever attended. I do treasure the photograph of us all together.

Bro. Robert

VORONEZH

There is some anti-climax for me after the Bible School finally happened; so many things were stressful because of the problem with the hotel, but I am so glad to have met so many brothers and sisters.

BELGRADE

I continue trying to interest people here in our faith. There is some response, the problem is getting people to go further than just agreeing with one or two points.

Bro. Vladislav

I have distributed more than 1000 copies of the discs with recording of the audio Bible. I give them to all I meet. I am so hopeful some fruit will come for the glory of God and His Son. Amen.

We are delighted to report the baptism of SASHA. May the Lord keep him in the way to His Kingdom.

I am sorry I can’t come to the gathering and baptism planned in Istanbul, it is all night on the bus for me from Antalya and it’s 43 degrees; I am finding it very hard these days to cope with such travel. But as you know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

news from ukraine

We are delighted to report the baptisms of PIOTR, NIDYA and IVA. May the Lord keep them in the way to His Kingdom.

KRASNIJ LIMAN

Our son Aleksandr has gone to Russia to work, as there is little work here. We are missing him. Every day we read the chapters from the Bible Companion and break bread each week. We feel the Lord’s presence in our lives, even though they are sad.

Bro. Vasily and Sis Lena

LUGANSK

Well, now I have a computer and can use internet, I am in contact more, including my dear ones in Latvia. We here in Ukraine so eagerly anticipate each year the Bible School in Poltava, it is such a wonderful thing to be together as well as to study the word of God intensively. I thank God for you.

Sis. Tamara

LVIV

I am fine. Recently we have a new child, a girl, Olenka. Older son, Oleh is already three years old. I continue to grow in Christ, thanks to your written books. I continue to speak with my wife about the essential doctrines of the Bible. I am thankful for your ministering of baptism to me.

Bro. Ihor

There is so much false teaching around, it’s so hard at times with those former friends who keep pushing it upon us and wanting to argue all the time. I have a lot of experience discussing with Jewish people, let me know any who speak Russian who’d like contact about the Gospel.

Bro. Piotr

POLTAVA

Once again I spent time in France caring for an old lady as I usually do each Summer. Each year I wonder if it will be the last time I see her. Although I do it as a job it is also a welcome break for me. I very much love this old lady and so wish I could break through to her about the Truth.
