AUSTRALIA Brother Mark and sister Lisa report the baptism of TIM and SARAH at their swimming pool:
"Today we had the pleasure of meeting yet another couple with whom the spirit of God has been calling to His son and the gracious salvation that is in "the son". Tim and Sarah have been feeling the pricks of conscience which has been goading them toward the Lord Jesus. But they realised that the goadings were toward the Lord Jesus and not so much toward a church/ecclesia denomination. And so they were in search of someone anyone who realised the distinction and would baptise them "into Christ Jesus". Sarah had been discussing these distinctions with her mother; and it just so happens that Sarah's mother saw our videos that addressed this very issue and passed on our details to Sarah and Tim. After multiple discussions, we finally met in person and spent a wonderful morning around the word of God and issues directly related to baptism into "the Lord Jesus".
We touch on "things of the Kingdom" or "kingdom things" as per Jesus describing "kingdom things". We discussed what it means to "believe in Jesus" or "trust in Jesus". We discussed that "trust in Jesus" also includes the trust that Jesus and God will ever be at our side and in us, as they bring to completion the good work that they have already begun in us. And upon belief in these matter and many more, Tim and Sarah were baptised into "the Lord Jesus". Praise God"

SLOVENIA
We were delighted to make a quick trip to a snow covered Ljubljana this week to baptize ROMEO and STANLEY. They came to us through the app and online following of us. We took NEV Bibles and hope they will spread the word especially amongst the immigrant English speaking community there who are often without any church to attend and so are turning to apps and online contact to develop their faith. They were baptized in the online presence of our Saturday morning Zoom church members.

UKRAINE
Prayers need to be doubled up for brother Lyesha who was arrested by the military police and taken immediately from the street to do his medical. He's off phone contact now, presumably undergoing military training for 2 weeks before being sent to the front line, as happens to those arrested for not obeying the consciption order. He leaves his elderly mother stranded up many flights of stairs in a tower block. And as you may have seen from the media, there are really major power outages now in Ukraine due to the continued attack on the energy infrastructure, which means no heating and water in many of the tower blocks.
UK
Preparations for the Xmas party are in full swing... so much interest in attending from amongst the large group of contacts we now have in South London. As ever the Gospel will be preached to all who come. Here's Cindy preparing the presents for everyone... and everyone will be a winner in the games planned:

Remember that most of our attenders are from seriously disadvantaged backgrounds living very bleak lives on small or no benefits.
About 12 years ago, we were living in Latvia running the soup kitchen church in Riga every day. A little girl called Evija asked me one morning, "Daddy, when I'm a big girl, could I help with the cooking at the church?". "Yes" I replied. That afternoon I dressed her up with cap, gloves and all the hygiene gear. And shaking with excitement, literally shaking, she began her work there, handing out the brown bread after dear sister Anne Barton had ladled out the soup.

And she has kept on. And now in South London UK she's running the catering at our church here. As a sister in the Lord Jesus. A great career in the Lord so far. I'm very proud of her. May God bless her further. There's no work like the Lord's work. Nothing compares. So many of those fed over the years have come to the Lord, some even have now fallen asleep in the Lord in the great Hope we were able to share with them. Hallelujah. Do pray for her in this quite challenging work, not least with the sometimes difficult folks one has to deal with as soon as you start offering free food, be it in Riga or London.
