A Faithful Leader

"Because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it" (Numbers 14:24). We must have the type of leadership like that of `Caleb' for us to cross into the coming kingdom of God. Many churches are failing because of these undevoted leaders. God is seeking for spiritual leaders not, for those who are greedy of earthly things. When appointed to be a leader in God's work ask Him for intelligence, wisdom like king Solomon. As a leader, learn to separate yourself from the darkness of the world so that God will bring you and those whom you lead into His kingdom. Let the light shine and people see the following things in you:

L ­ Light: people must see light in your living style, not works of darkness

E ­ Eternity: spread the word of God's reward (eternal life) and make people know about the coming kingdom of God

A ­ Age: both spiritual and physical growth must be seen in you

D ­ Death: You must have died to sin and live unto Christ

E ­ Everyone: must see you depending on His guidance and provision

R ­Resurrection: the hope of resurrection will make you stand firm.

Brothers and sisters, if all these things are identified in us, we will be like Caleb, heirs of God's coming kingdom.
