Thanksgiving for the Mercies of God

Sometimes we fail to praise or appreciate every little thing we achieve in this life, owing to challenges we usually encounter on our way to the kingdom to come. Therefore let us thank the Almighty God for everything we attain. He will never let us be oppressed by some cruel people who don’t want us to achieve in this life.

Maybe at some point we offended God or disobeyed Him to such an extent that we did not participate in some activities. However, He is always willing to embrace and forgive everyone’s wrongs which were committed in ignorance. There is a powerful encouragement in the book of Isaiah: “And in that day thou shalt say, ‘O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is my salvation. And in that day shall ye say, “Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people. Make mention that His name is exalted’. Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things; this is knon in all the earth. Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee” (Isa 12:1-6).
