God’s Judgement Is Coming

First and foremost let us go back to the Old Testament to see what happened to the people of many years ago: “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, ‘I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast and the creeping things and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them’. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord” (Gen 6:5-8).

Today the world and the people have gone back to their old ways as in the time of Noah. And now see, “But the Lord shall endure for ever: He hath prepared His throne for judgement. And He shall judge the world in righteousness, He shall minister judgement to the people in uprightness” (Psalm 9:7,8).

The Lord Jesus said, “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all” (Luke 17:26-29).

The Lord sees what we are doing every day. Brothers and sisters who see the Lord’s word, remember it is an example to us today (see Romans 1:18-32). “The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of man, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God” (Psalms 14:2).

Brothers and sisters, if we do not understand the word of the Lord, there is no difference between us and the people of Noe’s and Lot’s time, as the Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon, (Matt 13:10-15; 2 Peter 2:5-9). “Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light”. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.” Remember God’s judgement is coming soon and I pray that the Lord God be with you all always, as we await the coming of His kingdom”. Even so come, Lord Jesus.
