Latvia / Heating Appeal, October 2007
We mentioned recently in these messages the attempted gang rape of sister Lena in Riga. Cindy's been trying to assist her as best she can in various ways. Please do pray for her in the aftermath of this event. Here's a picture, to focus your prayers, of our sister showing Cindy some of her bedding with her blood on it. She lives in one small room with a bed, a shelf, some Biblical books, and uses a common toilet and washroom.
We're also including attached an appeal from some British brothers and sister regarding a specific heating need in Latvia. Please pass it on to others or your ecclesia.
We're now distributing Winter heating assistance in earnest and will update you shortly, God willing.
